Six points for a correct answer, 1.5 for a blank and 0 for a wrong one, over 25 questions in 75 minutes β€” identical to the real AMC 12. A blank beats a guess unless you have eliminated at least three options.

How hard is it?

It ramps like the real paper: ten approachable questions, eight in the band that decides most scores, and seven genuinely hard ones drawing on roots of unity, functional equations and multi-step counting.

What score should I aim for?

The AIME threshold is a fixed 85 points from the 2026-27 cycle. Fourteen correct answers with the remaining eleven left blank scores 100.5, so you do not need the hardest questions to qualify.
